our summer is gone!
Our little summer is gone, she was our first foster child, and today we dropped her off, and she will not be returning!! It was very hard to say good bye, she cried and screamed and cried for us. Her arms in the air, begging for us to take her. It was very rough!! I pray to God that he will keep her safe!! We love her!
waiting for our visas
We sent our paper work out on tuesday to apply for our visas. We should get them back this coming week... we are so so close. We are still waiting to get our travel announcement (TA)... just a few more weeks!

WE GOT OUR LOA TODAY
Well here it is our LOA (letter of acceptance). We sign it, send it back, and we should be getting our travel dates very shortly. We could be traveling in August. God this is wonderful. Is this really happening? This feels like a dream!!!

travel
We dont know when we will travel, hopefully this summer by august, i am guessing. We changed from the non special needs list, to the special needs children, the weekend of may 23rd. We got the call on june 4th, stating they have found a match for us... It was that fast... How exciting....

she is 19 months old, dob nov 4th 2007, she is about 23 pounds right now... she has cleft lip and palate, the lip was repaired.

another month
Well its been another month and is been 38 months total, since we have started this process. We are getting closer. The rumor queen said that the last batch of referrals went through March 14th 2006! We are getting closer. We cant wait. Here's a few pictures of the kids!!

Our 3 year anniversary
Well it's offical, the CCAA has changed their box to March 8th. Our LID is 4-6-06. I think currently there is 30-31 days to go till we make it to our LID....
We are getting closer!! We still have a few more months to go, but nothing compared to what we have waited already!! Today is our three year mark, its been three years since our LID... I can't believe it!

March 5th, 2009
Wow, sorry its been so long, i forgot i made this blog... oopps. A lot has happened since the last time i wrote on the blog. We are foster parents to a beautiful little girl, her name is summer. She is 2. Brianna is growing like crazy!!! I will attach pictures for you to view.
Group 131 got their referrals this week!!! That's exciting because we are group 134! We are projecting on getting our referral around November. We are praying that we go to china at the end of this year!!!
We will keep our blog updated since our little shelby hayes will be here soon!!! Its been 35 months as of 3-7-09. My Gosh!!!
