Well the good news is group 125 got their referral on 4/9/07. The bad news is that actual batch of referrals was only two days worth. So looks like the wait is going to be a long one. The CCAA new guidelines start on May 1st, which means things could speed up.

waiting for next batch of referrals

Well we are waiting anxiously for the next batch of referrals to come out. Hopefully this time it will include two groups that are ahead of our group. Right now there nine groups ahead of ours, if this rumor is true then two groups will get their referrals. We are group 134, and now we are hoping group 124 and 125 gets their referral. For all of you who are wondering what a referral is, it is the picture of your child you are waiting to adopt.

The CCAA has finished the review of the adoption application documents registered with our office before March 31, 2006.

The CCAA has finished the placement of children for the families whose adoption application documents were registered with our office before October 24, 2005.

Now remember our dossier went over April 2006. There are 9 more groups ahead of us! Every month the CCAA (China Center of Adoption Affairs) post these letters on their web site.
